Information we may collect

We may collect information you provide, including email addresses for login, product updates, receipts, account recovery, contact requests, character prompts, and selected use cases.

AI generation data

When you generate a character card, your prompt and generated text may be processed by third-party AI providers to deliver the service. CharacterMuse currently generates text character cards and portrait prompts for external image tools; it does not generate final images. Do not submit sensitive personal information.

Accounts, credits, and payments

Free generation is available with daily limits. Login, credits, PayPal sandbox checkout, and paid-plan flows may create account, order, and usage records. Production billing is not fully open until clearly marked on the pricing page.

Analytics and cookies

We use analytics to understand page views, referrers, generator events, copy/download actions, pricing interest, and product usage. Cookie use is described in the Cookie Policy.

Data retention

Account, contact, subscription, usage, and order data may be retained while the service is operating unless you request deletion. Generated content storage depends on whether save/library features are enabled; free browser exports are primarily handled in your browser.

You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or unsubscribe from product updates where applicable.
